Designed for women, non-binary, and women-identifying individuals, this program is your gateway to transforming your entrepreneurial aspirations into tangible success.
Introducing the Launchpad for Entrepreneurs
In a groundbreaking partnership with DMZ, we bring you the Launchpad for Entrepreneurs, a program that celebrates and supports diverse identities and backgrounds in the entrepreneurial sphere. This isn’t just a course; it’s a comprehensive experience, providing essential knowledge, skills, and resources to kickstart your business venture. Beyond that, it’s a thriving community and a network of mentors ready to uplift and guide you.
Bernice is a curious connector, collaborator, entrepreneur, author, facilitator, traveler, and especially a proud Mom of 3 beautiful humans who are making their mark on the world and we are excited to have her as the Women’s Entrepreneurship Coordinator. With experience in Hospitality, Adult Education and Entrepreneurship she brings to table a wealth of knowledge, connections to the ecosystem, and a passion for women in business.
This program is an inclusive space for aspiring entrepreneurs, those in the beginning or ideation stage, and anyone looking to establish and grow a successful business in any industry. It’s a nurturing ground for artists, creatives, innovators, and visionaries who are ready to make their mark.
Recognizing that each entrepreneurial path is unique, the Launchpad for Entrepreneurs offers a range of learning formats - on-demand, self-paced learning, and both virtual and in-person sessions. Spanning across Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, we ensure accessibility and convenience. The program unfolds in two phases, tailored to align with your current stage and experience level.
Phase 1 of the program is for women who are in the beginning stages of exploring entrepreneurship or have an early-stage idea and covers topics like Entrepreneurship 101, Leadership Essentials and Goal Setting
Phase 2 supports women entrepreneurs with an established business concept who are ready to build a strong foundation for launch. In this phase, participants receive training in Pitch Coaching, Go-To-Market Strategy, Legal 101, and more.
